St. Joseph Hospital 'Memorial Garden'
Specialty Institution Garden in Towson, Maryland - A Complete Garden Renovation (Demolition, New Water Feature, New Hardscapes, Plantings, Irrigation and Landscape Lighting Production)
Located in the center of St. Joseph Medical Center adjacent to the Chapel, this garden was conceived by renowned Landscape Architect David Locke FASLA and his team from MRA. We partnered with David and began demolition and construction of his redesigned Garden in early 2008.The Garden was built in conjunction with the Heart Institute addition to the Saint Joseph Medical Center. There was a complete demolition of a pre-existing garden while preserving several mature feature trees, a large boulder and a portion of a pond. All demolition spoil going out and all elements coming in for the new garden construction were hoisted to the second floor interior space. The project was completed in 9 months!
